Newborn Photography in Madera, CA: What to Expect
When should I book my newborn session?
It’s best to reserve your newborn session while you’re still pregnant, ideally during your second or third trimester. We’ll use your due date to reserve your place on my calendar and finalize your session date once your baby arrives.
What age is best for newborn photos?
Newborn portraits are typically photographed during your baby’s first few weeks, when babies are naturally sleepier and comfortable being gently posed. Every baby is different, and your session will always move at your baby’s pace.
Are parents and siblings included in newborn sessions?
Yes. Parents and siblings are welcome and included at no additional charge in all of my newborn collections. I love creating portraits of your new baby alone as well as meaningful family portraits with the people who love them most.
What should I bring to my newborn session?
I provide the wraps, outfits, props, and carefully styled setups for your baby. I recommend bringing extra milk or formula, diapers, a pacifier if your baby uses one, and anything else your baby may need. You’re also welcome to bring a meaningful personal item you’d like incorporated into a portrait.
Do you provide wardrobe options for Mom?
Yes. Mothers have access to my collection of beautiful dresses for their newborn portraits. This makes it easy to create a polished, coordinated look for your family portraits without having to purchase something specifically for the session. You are also welcome to bring your own outfit if you prefer, and I'm happy to help coordinate a look that complements your family.
